The Best of Hitopdesh, by Mrs Rungeen Singh consists of stories from Hitopdesh, which is a memorable collection of Sanskrit fables in prose and verse. These fables were written in 12th century. The author has compiled some of these stories in this book and narrated the same in very interesting and reader-friendly fashion with pictures wherever essential.
