Pollyanna, the eponymous heroine of the novel is an orphan who lives with her aunt in New England. Pollyanna’s positivity affects everyone she meets and she spreads joy and love wherever she goes. However, when tragedy strikes, Pollyanna’s optimistic attitude is severely tested, until she learns to find happiness again.
